Turquoise Beach: Boracay 4days and 3 nights

We booked at CebuPacific Air on a promo fare last year. This will help you prepare your budget ahead of time. Since I have a friend who lives in Kalibo, She help us to organize some of our itinerary.

Our flight was scheduled 10pm at Ninoy Aquino Terminal 3. Good thing Cebu pacific has a web check in, so we are not in a hurry for our flight. We printed our boarding pass in advance.
Everything was smooth. We took our late dinner inside the airport while waiting to board.
The weather is perfect, We landed safely at Kalibo Airport by 11.05pm. Good thing there are still fx-van going to caticlan. We spent the night at my friends house at Malay, Aklan it was just a 15 min ride going to caticlan ferry terminal. We rest to prepare ourselves for the beach!!

We have an early morning breakfast and walk in a nearby shore teased us by the  overlooking view of Boracay Island. So immediately we packed our bags and with a help of a good friend there. He guided us going to caticlan ferry terminal. We payed for environmental fee and terminal fee and boat fee. We didn't pay for the environmental fee since our friend lived there (advantage)

Since we will stay there for 4 days. It is better to book ahead for your accommodation.
Group accommodations can save you more. The more closer to the beach font, the more expensive. But the advantage is having an easy access if there is an emergency cases like going to the restroom, charging your gadgets and chilling up a bit on times of you can't tolerate much the heat.
Air conditioned rooms, fruit shakes and ice cold drinks are the best thing in that place surely.

Wide brimmed hats, shawls, flipflops and shades aren't just a fashion statement there, but it was badly needed, i swear! The heat of the sun were radiating on the beach and on the sand. it was very humid.

But behind those flaws, there are things you couldn't resist.

1. The powdery white sands

You will surely fell in love with the sands. Unlike in other beaches you can't walk barefoot there's no seashells, rock granules that can hurt your feet.

2. Turquoise - Tiffany Blue Beach

This made the beach so elegant. It reflects the color of the blue sky, the blue paraws (sailboats)

3. NO seaweeds, NO jellyfish
No worries of stingy jellyfish and accidental cuts from seaweeds. Its like swimming in a pool.
It was so clear, you can even take underwater shots and you can see the reflection of your feet.

4. Beautiful Sunset

You will surely appreciate the sun when it sets. I thought that sun is my worst enemy in the beach but I was wrong, Boracay isn't complete without the sun. You cannot appreciate the beach after sunset,
it was already dim. only the lights coming from the beach front establishments is the source of light.

5. Night Life

Fire dancing, Clubbing, Cocktail drinks at BOMBO BAR

Acoustic live bands (Reggae music) and Dinner buffet by the beach.
Try something new. Do not eat the same as you are eating in your office.

Try freshly grilled seafoods and their specialties like calamansi muffins at Real Coffee
That time, there is no available calamansi muffins so we opted to buy oatmeal cookies and milkshakes

6. "Selfie- Groupie" Shots
Express yourself. Wear your gear. Wear your most comfortable pair. Wear bikinis if you can.
Don't miss to take a shot at Willy's Rock, your beachfront sightseeing, Jumpshots, tossing the waves, sunbathing in the sand, anything that could stay in your memories forever.

7. Water activities
This could spice up your stay in Boracay. I'll tell you! You can develop new skills.

* Parawsailing
* Parasailing
* Helmet diving
* Paddle surfing

Try to visit

Puka beach (get a tricycle to go there)

Don't forget your pasalubong!!
